National Range Day 2024 had a number of different disciplines for the public to participate in:
- Archery shooting targets and stands
- 22LR rifle shooting 100-300m long range targets
- 22LR rifle and pistol shooting steel and balloons in the Family Fun Zone
- 22LR rifle and pistol in Steel Challenge
- 9mm pistol in IPSC
Attendance was down compared to our super busy event in 2023 due to rain through most of the day this year. For those who braved the rain they received more time with their shooting supervisor and were able to fire more rounds.
167 people participated in National Range Day 2024, helped by 40 volunteers from the Vernon Fish & Game Club and the support of many local businesses. A special thanks to Del Selin Gunsmith for sponsoring the ammunition for the 22LR rifles and pistols.
