Fun for the entire family, ages 6 and up receive instruction in the safe use of firearms and the chance to try archery, pistols and rifles at distances up to 300m.
The Vernon Fish & Game Club is hosting a free public open house for National Range Day. This is an all ages event and no previous experience is necessary. Try archery, pistols and rifles with one-on-one instruction and supervision. Enjoy the free BBQ lunch and learn about safe and responsible firearm use for shooting sports and hunting.
Join us in celebrating National Range Day, and recognize the 2.3 million licensed gun owners who responsibly, legally, and safely own and use firearms in Canada.

Who: Ages 6+ have attended our previous Range Day events, child sized rifles will be provided. See the Photo Galleries from Range Day 2023 & 2024. No previous firearm experience is necessary, safety training and direct supervision is provided while target shooting.
Registration: The event is first come, first served. When you arrive at the range you’ll be provided a map and information to guide you to the registration area where you’ll receive your eye and ear protection, wrist band and further instructions.
